MALAYSIA DIGITAL ECONOMY WEEK in DUBAI EXPO 2020

Kat Solutions Sdn Bhd was honoured to be part of the Malaysian Digital Economy Week in conjunction of the Expo Dubai 2020. The prestigious event took place in Dubai UAE on the 9th to 15th January 2022 and attracted about 18 Malaysian companies that took part in the exhibition. It was a seven-day window of opportunity for Malaysian companies to interact with globa business players especially from the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). KAT Solutions took advantage of the business matching opportunity with global tech players that were actively exploring technology partners and business opportunities in other markets.

The inaugural event, which was officiated by YB Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima TPr Annuar Haji Musa, Minister of Communications and Multimedia, was one of the highlights of the Malaysia Digital Economy Week. During the event, we were privileged to have his time for a brief session at our booth. Our CEO Muhamad Faris bin Khairol Anuar took this chance to showcase and explained at length  about KATSys to the Minister.

The Digital Economy Week also gave us an opportunity to meet with a few tech companies in Dubai- both physically and virtually. This is indeed a positive start for KAT Solutions in terms of tying the network together in Dubai to address the Middle East market. The companies involved in the business matching session with KAT Solutions include Gulf Business Matching (GBM), Blackbox, Multi-Level Group (MLG) Dubai, Infotiz Solution, and a few more.

Malaysia Digital Economy Week is part of the 26 weekly thematic trade and business programmes organised by the Malaysian Pavilion for Expo 2020 Dubai and we feel honored to be part of this as it really opened up new opportunities for KAT Solutions Sdn Bhd to increase our reach into the Middle East and North Africa markets.We hope to participate in more activities like this with MDEC in the future, as it will help us spread the KATSys message around the world.
